General Dynamics has secured a $49.3 million contract for additional Stryker DVHA1 vehicles for the US Army, with the Army also planning a future order for 20 more, according to Defense Daily. The DVHA1 is a double-V-hull variant of the Stryker providing enhanced protection against improvised explosive devices. The contract and planned follow-on order sustain production of a priority survivability-enhanced variant as the Army continues to refresh its Stryker fleet.
