U.S. Army updates logistics tool with Iran war lessons
The US Army has updated its LOADOUT logistics platform using lessons from operations against Iran during Epic Fury. Developed through the Combined Arms Support Command at Fort Lee, the tool manages transportation movement requests from submission and coordination through execution and closeout. New functions include customizable dashboards, cargo-manifest exports, equipment and deployment-list uploads, real-time transport-capacity information and a Movement Board banner highlighting Priority 1 requests. Work with the 1st and 8th Theater Sustainment Commands and US Army Japan supports further refinement, with monthly theater reviews planned to capture additional operational requirements.
