U.S. Navy awards GE $2.87 billion for F/A-18 engines

The U.S. Navy awarded GE Aerospace a $2.87 billion contract for F414 engines powering F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler fleets. The deal sustains combat readiness across carrier air wings. The engines support ongoing operations and long-term sustainment needs. It represents one of the year's largest naval propulsion awards.
