U.S. Navy's newest Flight III destroyer to be commissioned in October

The U.S. Navy's newest Arleigh Burke Flight III destroyer will be commissioned in October. The variant features the AN/SPY-6 radar for enhanced air and missile defense. It offers upgraded power and cooling for future systems. Commissioning adds advanced capability to the surface fleet.
