U.S. Navy Testing New Long-Range Air-to-Air Missile

The U.S. Navy is testing a new very-long-range air-to-air missile. The weapon has been identified as the Raytheon AIM-424 Malice. It is intended for carrier-based and future tactical combat aircraft. The program would extend naval aviation engagement ranges against airborne threats.
