U.S. Prepares V-22 Osprey Tiltrotor Fleet for Post-Production Era With $64M Sustainment Contracts

The Pentagon awarded Bell Boeing and Raytheon contracts worth a combined $64.04 million to preserve engineering and software support for the V-22 fleet as production approaches its end. Bell Boeing received $29.67 million to maintain loads-and-dynamics modelling data for the MV-22B, CV-22B and CMV-22B variants through March 2030. Raytheon’s award covers continued support for the aircraft’s Tactical Software Suite. The contracts focus on technical data and software sustainment rather than routine maintenance or spare-parts supply.
