UK details £16bn military support for Ukraine

Britain detailed about £16 billion in military support allocated to Ukraine across five financial years. Direct assistance rises from £2.5 billion in 2022-23 and £2.3 billion in 2023-24 to £3 billion in 2024-25, £4.7 billion in 2025-26 and £3.75 billion in 2026-27, with later totals including loan-related support. The package covers weapons, ammunition, training, maintenance and industrial procurement. London also maintains a commitment of at least £3 billion annually through 2030-31, although future-year composition will depend on needs, appropriations and annual budget decisions in Parliament.
