UK to invest £580 million in Dstl infrastructure and Porton Down facilities

The UK will invest £580 million in Dstl infrastructure and Porton Down facilities for advanced defence science and technology research. The funding modernises CBRN, biotech and emerging-tech labs. It supports the Strategic Defence Review's S&T priorities. Work strengthens the UK's sovereign research base.
