Ukraine codifies Dodge RAM 5500-based armoured pickup
Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence codified the domestically produced UAT.GYURZA-01 armoured pickup, allowing it to be supplied to the armed forces. Built on a Dodge RAM 5500 chassis, the vehicle can carry five fully equipped personnel and nearly two tonnes of cargo. Its protection includes STANAG 4569 Level 2 ballistic and fragmentation resistance and Level 3a/3b mine protection, alongside surveillance, electronic-protection and fire-suppression systems. Codification authorises procurement but does not itself standardise production or assign the vehicle a dedicated fire-support role.
