Ukraine fires FP-7 tactical ballistic missile in first combat use
Ukraine announced the first combat use of Fire Point's FP-7 tactical ballistic missile on October 1, releasing nighttime launch footage and indicating that production would follow. The manufacturer describes the ground-launched, solid-fueled weapon as having a 200-kilometer range, a 150-kilogram warhead and a maximum speed of 1,500 meters per second. Its combat debut followed the first publicly documented flight test in February 2026. Ukrainian forces also reported strikes on Russian military facilities that night, but the precise FP-7 target and independently confirmed damage from the missile were not established.
