Ukraine lets Defence City arms makers lease state and municipal property without auctions to expand wartime weapons production

Ukraine has enacted a policy allowing arms manufacturers operating within its Defence City cluster to lease state and municipal property without competitive auction, streamlining access to production facilities to accelerate wartime weapons output. The measure removes a key bureaucratic barrier that had slowed the expansion of domestic arms production capacity. It applies specifically to manufacturers in the Defence City framework and reflects Ukraine's broader strategy of rapidly scaling industrial output for drones, artillery, ammunition and other priority systems amid continued high-intensity combat.
