Ukraine's Defence Intelligence says Russian forces have begun using Bureau 1440's Rassvet low-Earth-orbit satellites for communications over Ukraine during limited daily windows. The first operational group can provide two useful passes of roughly one to one-and-a-half hours, offering a potential link for remote units and uncrewed systems without continuous coverage. The state-backed network is promoted as a Russian alternative to foreign satellite internet, but its constellation remains small and additional launches have faced orbital setbacks.
