Ukraine's frontline medics bring robot rescue lessons to Sweden

Combat medics from Ukraine's 1st Separate Medical Battalion visited Sweden to share methods for evacuating wounded personnel under persistent drone threat. They met medical staff from the Swedish Armed Forces' Life Guards regiment and described using remotely controlled ground vehicles inside heavily contested frontline areas. The MAUL robot built by AIDronesUA can retrieve casualties where sending medics or conventional vehicles would be too dangerous, with each mission planned around injuries, terrain and local conditions. The visit marked MAUL's first trip outside Ukraine and gave Swedish personnel direct access to combat-tested lessons for protecting rescuers and improving casualty survival.
