Ukraine's NC13 plans expansion of strike UGV operations
Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps plans to expand strike missions by uncrewed ground vehicles over the next six months, the commander of its NC13 unit said on October 6. The effort brings infantry assault personnel, technical teams and developers together to turn battlefield experience into revised tactics and procedures. Vehicles use a mix of digital mesh networks and encrypted analogue control links, allowing operators to change communications methods when conditions require and work from positions distant from the front. The announced expansion concerns practical mission development and additional use of ground robots, while larger scaling ambitions remain targets rather than a confirmed procurement volume.
