Underwater Drone Captured By Iran Matches American Anduril Model

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said it recovered an unmanned underwater vehicle in the Strait of Hormuz whose appearance closely matches Anduril’s Dive-LD. Images provide credible visual similarities, but the vehicle’s identity, ownership and mission had not been independently confirmed. Dive-LD is a long-endurance autonomous platform used for survey, intelligence and mine-countermeasure tasks and can support other payloads. If authenticated, the recovery could expose sensitive hardware and software, yet claims about capture circumstances or operational compromise should remain provisional until the United States or the manufacturer provides confirmation.
