Update: Javelin Joint Venture, Tata to explore missile co-production in India

The Javelin Joint Venture formed by Lockheed Martin and RTX signed an agreement with Tata Advanced Systems to explore co-production of the anti-tank missile in India. The parties will examine local manufacturing, supply-chain participation and support arrangements that could align future Indian requirements with the established Javelin production system. The memorandum does not constitute an Indian weapon order, production license or guaranteed workshare, and any implementation would still require government approvals, commercial terms and a procurement decision; its immediate significance is the creation of an industrial pathway for deeper defense cooperation.
