US approves military sale of helicopters to Iraq for $800 million

The US State Department approved an $800 million foreign military sale of helicopters to Iraq. The package includes Bell 412EPX and 407M rotorcraft for reconnaissance and strike. The deal enhances Iraqi aviation and support infrastructure. Congressional notification has been issued for the transaction.
