Voyager to build satellite dispensers for U.S. Space Force
Voyager Technologies received a $22.4 million Other Transaction Authority agreement from the Strategic Capabilities Office to develop flight-ready satellite dispenser prototypes. Announced on October 5, the project aims to place additional small satellites into unused launch mass and volume without disrupting a rocket's primary mission. The dispensers would increase the number of spacecraft carried on existing launches and support more flexible deployment of space capabilities. The technology is intended to transition to the U.S. Space Force after prototyping, but the award does not disclose prototype quantities, launch-vehicle assignments, first-flight timing or a production order.
