Army Now Testing Anthem Long-Range Strike Weapon Built for Mass Production
Covenant unveiled Anthem, a ground-launched cruise missile designed around rapid production and lower unit cost. The weapon uses a solid booster followed by a heavy-fuel jet engine and is advertised to carry a payload exceeding 200 kilograms. The company says the design has accumulated more than 200 tests, has about $150 million in orders and could sell in the mid-six-figure range. Planned factories in Germany, Texas and Israel are intended to support high annual output, but those production targets remain company projections rather than contracted or demonstrated industrial output.
