Zulu Pods Tests Attritable-Engine Lubrication System At Altitude
Zulu Pods has conducted altitude testing of a novel engine lubrication system designed for attritable jet engines, a critical technology required to enable affordable, single-use or limited-reuse propulsion for next-generation expendable air vehicles. The test validates the system's performance under reduced atmospheric pressure conditions representative of operational flight altitudes. Reliable low-cost lubrication systems are a key enabling technology for the production of affordable cruise missiles and collaborative combat aircraft at the quantities required by emerging U.S. Air Force attritable platform concepts.
