Land Forces 2026: Lockheed Martin details Australian Black Hawk progress
Lockheed Martin said at Land Forces 2026 that Australia had received 19 of its 40 ordered UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters as work continues toward final operational capability. Six aircraft are based at Oakey and 13 at Holsworthy, with the fleet having accumulated more than 7,000 flying hours. The company is supporting the US Army's delivery and capability-transition effort while expanding Australian sustainment activities through the government's Australian Industry Capability program. Deliveries are paused while the remaining aircraft receive the final operational capability modification package in the United States, with deliveries expected to resume around the third quarter of 2027.
