V2X Wins $46 Million Air Force Contract Supporting B-52 LRSO Integration
V2X has been awarded a position on a $46 million U.S. Air Force delivery order supporting the B-52 Long Range Standoff cruise missile program. Under the award, V2X will provide carriage equipment production needed to support integration of the LRSO weapon system on the B-52 Stratofortress. The LRSO is being developed to replace the Air Force's existing Air-Launched Cruise Missile as part of the modernization of the air-launched leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent.
