Lockheed Martin wins Philippine contract for Black Hawk pilot and maintenance training
Lockheed Martin received a Philippine Department of National Defense contract to provide Black Hawk flight and maintenance training equipment for the country’s S-70i helicopter fleet. The package includes a full-flight simulator, virtual maintenance trainer, course materials, sustainment support and spare parts through 2032, allowing more training to move into the Philippines while pilots continue using Sikorsky’s U.S. training academy during the transition. The simulator is based on a digital representation of the aircraft, while the maintenance trainer reproduces key systems and procedures for technicians. Lockheed Martin did not disclose the contract value or the detailed delivery and acceptance schedule.
