Embraer, Mahindra Plan C-390 Assembly Line in Nagpur for India's MTA Bid
Embraer and Mahindra have selected Nagpur, Maharashtra, as the proposed location for a C-390 Millennium final assembly line in India. The plan is contingent on the C-390 being selected by the Indian Air Force for its Medium Transport Aircraft programme, and the companies are discussing the required infrastructure with the Maharashtra government. The proposal is designed to support local production and India's domestic aerospace-manufacturing objectives rather than the separate Avro-replacement programme.
