New images show China’s largest stealth drone in testing
New satellite and ground imagery shows China's very large stealth unmanned aircraft continuing tests at the Malan airfield in Xinjiang. Analysts describe a tailless flying wing with an estimated span near 170 feet, broad inner wing sections, long narrow outer panels, and low-observable shaping, making it one of the largest uncrewed aircraft publicly observed. The platform is commonly labeled WZ-X in open sources, but Beijing has not announced an official name, manufacturer, engine arrangement, mission, performance, test objectives, or service-entry plan, so assessments of strategic reconnaissance range and operational maturity remain provisional.
