Saudi and Yemeni Airports Hit in New Round of Strikes
Saudi Arabia's King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh suffered a missile attack on October 10 and another strike from an unidentified projectile on October 11 as fighting with Yemen's Houthi movement intensified. The initial attack killed at least 13 people and injured hundreds, while a subsequent strike reportedly hit Terminal 4, causing a fire and further disruption to airport operations. The Houthis also reported Saudi airstrikes against Sanaa International Airport in Yemen, although the extent of damage and casualties there was not independently established. The attacks affected civilian aviation facilities on both sides of the conflict, with responsibility and individual casualty figures still subject to official updates.
