Italy Signs €3.7B Contract for New DDX Destroyers
Italy has signed a €3.7 billion contract for new DDX destroyers, representing one of the most significant Italian naval procurement decisions in recent years. The contract, awarded through OCCAR, involves a Fincantieri-Leonardo joint venture and is intended to deliver vessels capable of defending against ballistic and hypersonic missile threats.
