DroneShield completed installation of its DroneSentry-X Mk2 counter-uncrewed-aircraft system on US Infantry Squad Vehicles and established an initial operational capability. Mounted on a mobile platform, the equipment can detect, identify, and help defeat hostile drones while accompanying infantry formations. The integration addresses the growing need for protection against small aircraft without forcing units to rely exclusively on fixed-site sensors. Initial operational capability indicates that a usable configuration is available for early employment, while further testing, training, and sustainment work will shape broader adoption across the fleet.
