Lithuania receives first €956.3 million SAFE payment under EU plan
Lithuania received its first €956.3 million payment under the EU SAFE defence investment plan. Funds will accelerate eastern flank capability acquisition. The disbursement is among the first under the new EU financing mechanism. It supports Baltic deterrence and industrial cooperation projects.
