Israeli firm unveils satellite that spots 25-centimeter details
ImageSat International unveiled EROS NOVA, an Earth-observation satellite designed to capture optical imagery at a native resolution of 25 centimeters. The spacecraft combines very-high-resolution imaging with short-wave infrared sensing, video collection and onboard artificial-intelligence processing. ISI says the onboard system will prioritize operationally relevant imagery and shorten the time between collection and delivery to intelligence users. The stated performance remains a company claim and will require in-orbit validation once the satellite is launched and commissioned.
