Moroccan F-16s Train With French Rafales on First Deployment to Orange
Four Royal Moroccan Air Force F-16s trained with French Rafales at Orange-Caritat Air Base from September 23 to October 2 during Exercise Oryx Orange. The deployment marked the Moroccan fighters' first training visit to the French Air and Space Force's 5th Fighter Wing. Approximately 50 Moroccan personnel, including 12 pilots, supported air-combat, formation-flying, aerial-refueling and electronic-warfare activities, with a C-130H2 providing transport support. The exercise extended bilateral fighter cooperation following MARATHON 25 in Morocco earlier in the year, bringing Moroccan aircrews and ground personnel into French-hosted operations using the wing's Rafale fleet.
