Northrop Grumman delivers more than 40 G/ATOR radars to U.S. forces as full-rate production targets growing global demand
Northrop Grumman says it has delivered more than 40 AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radars to U.S. forces as the system moves through full-rate production. G/ATOR provides a mobile, multifunction radar for air surveillance, air traffic control, counterfire detection, and support to short-range air defense, allowing several missions to use a common architecture. The delivery milestone demonstrates production maturity and supports Marine Corps and Air Force requirements while the company pursues overseas demand, but export sales and future quantities will depend on customer decisions, approvals, and contracts.
