Havelsan and AOI sign sales agreement for HAMZA-1 UAV

HAVELSAN and Egypt's Arab Organization for Industrialization signed a sales agreement for the HAMZA-1 fixed-wing vertical-take-off-and-landing uncrewed aircraft at the El Alamein airshow. The jointly developed system is based on HAVELSAN's Bozbey design, has a maximum take-off weight of about 40 kilograms and can carry up to 15 kilograms of surveillance payload. The agreement supports local production in Egypt, but the partners did not disclose the order value, aircraft quantity, sensor configuration or delivery schedule.
