AeroVironment Says Halo_Shield C-UAS Handled More Drones at T-REX 26-3
AeroVironment reported that Halo_Shield handled more simultaneous drone threats during T-REX 26-3 experimentation in Grand Forks, North Dakota, in late August. The modular counter-UAS mission-orchestration system connects distributed sensors and effectors with artificial-intelligence-enabled decision support, weapons pairing and engagement scheduling. The architecture is intended to pass battlefield data to command systems such as IBCS-M and coordinate electronic-warfare, kinetic and directed-energy responses, although demonstrated IBCS-M integration has not been disclosed. AV says selected tiles are already deployed at critical sites, but its exercise claims remain qualitative, with official T-REX results expected in late October and no published numerical gain in interception capacity.
