German satellite maker OHB wins $1.2 bln contract for 18 satellites in EU network
OHB secured a $1.2 billion contract to build 18 satellites for the EU's IRIS² secure communications constellation. The award marks a first major industrial commitment to the MEO platform network. The system will provide sovereign secure connectivity for European governments. Delivery supports EU strategic autonomy in space.
