Russia Fires Izdeliye 347, a 20 km Ground-Launched LMUR Missile System
Russia’s Ministry of Defense presented a ground-launched Izdeliye 347 missile firing during Tsentr-2026 at Chebarkul, reporting engagement of a simulated artillery target identified by aerial reconnaissance. The truck-mounted system adapts the helicopter-launched LMUR missile family and is attributed to KBM in Kolomna, part of Rostec. Russian reporting claims a range of up to 20 kilometers and the ability to engage stationary or moving targets using operator input during the terminal phase. The underlying LMUR architecture combines inertial and satellite navigation, thermal imagery and a two-way data link, while the exercise demonstrates the new ground-launch configuration.
