Indonesia to take delivery of first Chinese J-10CE jets in 6 months, report says
Indonesia's first Chengdu J-10CE fighters are expected to arrive in April 2027, according to Republika Online sources cited in reporting published on October 6. Jakarta previously confirmed an order for 42 aircraft with an approved $9 billion budget, while the number included in the initial delivery remains unspecified. The J-10CE is the export version of China's single-engine, multirole fighter, and Indonesia would follow Pakistan and Uzbekistan as an international operator. Indonesian Air Force leadership has not confirmed the reported delivery schedule, so the six-month timeline remains a reported expectation rather than an official handover date.
