AUSA 2026: AM General boss confirms 300-plus JLTV A2s delivered as export orders approach
AM General reported delivery of more than 300 JLTV A2 vehicles at AUSA 2026 as it increases output and anticipates Foreign Military Sales orders. The company describes a production rate of about five vehicles per day, marking progress after delays affecting the transition to full-rate manufacturing. The A2 is the configuration selected in the 2023 recompete against Oshkosh's original JLTV A1, with US Marine Corps procurement continuing as Oshkosh obtains long-lead material in anticipation of a second-supplier role. The update confirms delivered vehicles and an expanding production line, while prospective export sales remain expectations rather than announced customer contracts.
