ASELSAN demonstrates KORKUT 35 against drones and a moving ground target for defence delegations from 12 countries
ASELSAN demonstrated the KORKUT 140/35 air-defense system during live firing in Konya for delegations from 12 countries. Mounted on an Otokar ARMA II 8x8 vehicle, the system engaged a small fixed-wing drone, a target representing the Shahed or Geran class and a moving ground target while the platform itself was in motion. The event showcased the mobility, fire-control and 35 mm airburst capability of Türkiye’s latest KORKUT configuration, but it was a customer demonstration and did not itself announce a new export order for any participating nation.
