Kolarms showcases layered C-UAV complex
Slovak company Kolarms presented its Ares Shield layered counter-drone complex at ADEX 2026 in Baku, combining surveillance sensors, electronic countermeasures, interceptor drones and gun turrets. The proposed architecture links an X-band radar and electro-optical sensors with I2 Defender interceptors and Nemesis turrets, supported by a mobile command vehicle. Kolarms lists a 48-kilometre instrumented radar range, with much shorter detection distances for small targets, and directional jamming ranges of two to four kilometres. The company intends to tailor the package for military sites and critical infrastructure, with the exhibition presentation representing a system offering rather than a procurement announcement.
