U.S. Navy and Boeing Ink First Production Contract for MQ-25A Stingray
The U.S. Navy awarded Boeing a $562 million fixed-price incentive contract for the first low-rate production lot of the MQ-25A Stingray. The award covers three Lot 1 aircraft and long-lead components for three additional Lot 2 aircraft, with initial deliveries scheduled for 2029. MQ-25A will provide carrier-based aerial refueling and extend the reach of F/A-18E/F and F-35C aircraft. The contract moves the program from engineering and manufacturing development into production.
