Rheinmetall expands Quebec plant to increase domestic production of Mission Master autonomous ground vehicles and PATH technology
Rheinmetall Canada has broken ground on an expansion of its Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu facility in Quebec to support production and development of Mission Master uncrewed ground vehicles and PATH autonomy technology. The project is intended to increase domestic engineering, integration, testing, and manufacturing capacity as demand for robotic systems grows among Canada and allied customers. The investment strengthens Rheinmetall's Canadian industrial footprint and could shorten support chains, but construction is an enabling step rather than a confirmed order for a specific fleet size or proof that every Mission Master variant will be produced there.
