Lockheed Martin has publicly detailed the technical capabilities of its Next Generation Interceptor (NGI), intended to replace the aging Ground-Based Interceptor within the U.S. homeland missile defense architecture. The NGI features a multi-object kill vehicle and advanced discrimination technology to counter increasingly sophisticated ICBM threats.
