North Carolina firm to supply parts for Marine Corps' NMESIS launcher
A North Carolina-based company has been awarded a contract to supply structural and mechanical components for the Marine Corps' Navy/Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System launcher. NMESIS uses an unmanned JLTV to deliver the Naval Strike Missile for land-based anti-ship operations in the Indo-Pacific. Domestic supply chain development for NMESIS components supports production rate increases and reduces single-source dependencies. The system is central to the Marine Corps' Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations anti-access capability.
