Land Forces 2026: Defendtex unveils latest Night Wraith loitering munition variant
DefendTex presented its latest Night Wraith loitering-munition variant at Land Forces 2026 in Perth, held from October 6 to 8. The Australian company promoted Night Wraith at the exhibition as a precision-strike system with a stated 1,000-kilometre range, addressing requirements for Australia and allied customers. The display introduced an updated member of the company's expendable weapon portfolio, rather than announcing an operational deployment or a named military procurement contract. DefendTex's exhibition disclosures did not specify an order quantity, delivery timetable or the latest configuration's warhead and guidance details, so the range figure remains a manufacturer-stated system characteristic.
