REPMUS 2026: Hefring Marine showcases ODIN maritime domain awareness, USV safety systems
Hefring Marine used NATO's REPMUS 2026 exercise in Portugal to demonstrate its ODIN maritime-domain-awareness platform and safety functions for uncrewed surface vessels. ODIN aggregates navigation and sensor information to help operators maintain situational awareness, manage risk, and supervise autonomous craft in busy or complex waters. REPMUS provides an allied environment for testing interoperability and operational concepts, but the appearance was a technology showcase and no NATO-wide purchase, contract value, or fielding commitment accompanied it. Operational value will depend on reliable collision avoidance, communications, and integration with naval command systems under realistic conditions.
