On-Orbit Services Startup Starfish Space Raises $110 Million To Execute Missions, Boost Production
Starfish Space has raised $110 million to fund execution of initial on-orbit servicing missions and scale production of its Otter spacecraft designed for satellite life extension and repositioning. The company has government contracts with the U.S. Space Force and DARPA as customers for its servicing capabilities. On-orbit servicing has dual-use implications for both commercial satellite maintenance and potential military space logistics or inspection missions. The funding round accelerates Starfish toward its first operational mission demonstration.
