Lockheed Martin says up to $9 billion investment will accelerate PAC-3, THAAD, PrSM and JATM missile production across America
Lockheed Martin plans to invest as much as $9 billion through 2030 to expand missile production across more than 20 US sites. The spending will add manufacturing capacity, strengthen suppliers, modernize facilities and create jobs supporting PAC-3 MSE, THAAD, Precision Strike Missile and Joint Air-to-Ground Missile production. Longer-term, commercially structured agreements with the US government are intended to provide the demand certainty needed for sustained expansion. The initiative responds to sharply higher domestic and allied demand for air defense and precision-strike weapons while seeking to shorten delivery times and improve supply-chain resilience.
