PBS Aerospace says Georgia plant expansion doubles test capacity, supports 10,000-engine annual output target by 2028 amid rising U.S. defence demand
PBS Aerospace completed a 10,000-square-foot expansion at its Roswell, Georgia, plant, doubling turbojet engine test capacity and enabling a second production shift. The company is scaling small turbine output for cruise missiles, drones and other uncrewed systems as U.S. defence demand rises. The investment supports a stated goal of producing 10,000 engines annually by 2028, although current output and booked volumes were not published. Additional test stands are important because propulsion acceptance testing can otherwise constrain the rate at which finished engines leave the factory.
