US to help Ukraine repair Patriot air defense systems domestically as Russian missile attacks intensify
The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency is preparing a Raytheon procurement to provide Ukraine with a depot-level maintenance package for Patriot air-defence equipment. The proposed capability covers testing and repair of electronics, high-voltage power supplies, radar transmitters and cooling systems, with installation, training and reference equipment included. Five years of spare parts are planned for the test stations, enabling more sustainment work to be performed locally instead of sending equipment abroad for repair. The October 6 notice describes a procurement in preparation rather than an established repair centre, and does not disclose a contract value, equipment quantity or delivery schedule.
